How
the Forum Works
First of all, this is a 'moderated' service.
Messages posted to it are not accessible
until they have been verified by the 'moderator'. This prevents inappropriate
uses of the system and helps insure that responses are reliable. Although
new postings are checked as frequently as possible,
there is typically a delay of a few hours,
or occasionally a day or so, between the time messages are initially
posted and when they are verified and available for the general public
to view.
You now may begin by filling out
the Forum Registration Form as
completely as possible, especially regarding your location, which is
often critical for diagnosis or recommendations, and for providing local
referrals when necessary.
Note that only the first 20 messages are displayed when viewing a Conference List. At the bottom of this initial list are options for viewing the "next" 20, and viewing the "bottom" or most recent 20 messages. Since most of the Conferences have more than 20 messages, recently posted ones will not be on the initial list.
