If you are passionate about sustainable gardening practices and the environment, there are many ways to get involved.

Become a Master Gardener:

Apply to become a certified Master Gardener. To take this path, read about the commitment required in the Join Us section of this site, then complete the application materials in your home county.

Participate in Events:

If you are not ready to become a certified Master Gardener, you can participate in our numerous classes, both in-person and on-line events.

Washington Green School – Online Gardening Course

Earn a Washington Gardener Certificate in this fully online course offered once a year. Complete the same curriculum required of WSU Master Gardener volunteers—covering soil health, plant care, pest management, sustainable practices, and more—without the volunteer commitment.

Ideal for: Home gardeners, educators, and landscape professionals seeking expert knowledge and eco-friendly gardening skills.
