Our Program
Master Gardeners promote environmentally sound gardening by providing public education for the control of plant and pest problems. Program volunteers teach and demonstrate common sense gardening, integrated pest management, water conservation, composting, and home horticulture.
Three communities in the WSU Grant-Adams service area have demonstration gardens for public benefit and education. Drought Tolerant and Native Plant Demonstration Gardens are located in Moses Lake, Othello and Soap Lake.
The purpose of the Master Gardener Foundation of Grant-Adams Counties is to enhance and supplement the efforts of the Washington State University Extension Master Gardener program and its volunteers, and thereby to provide education and information on horticulture to the citizens of Grant-Adams Counties.
